It is a beautiful sunny Tuesday afternoon here in Texas.  The temperature is in the mid 90s.  I have been busy and have not been able to blog for the past few weeks and I have missed it.

The Sunday before Memorial Day, I decided I was going to do something very crazy.  I decided to run around to the other side of our pool and in doing so, I had to jump over the end of the slide.  Well, my left foot caught the bottom of the slide and down I went on my left knee and wrists.  I knew that I scapped my knee but I didn't think I had hurt anything else.  I got right back in the water and played the rest of the day and then I was in the water on Memorial Day.

Tuesday about mid-morning, I found out that I could not straighten up.  I had to go out of town that afternoon and would not return until this past Sunday.  Well, I spend most of Thursday afternoon and evening in the emergency room having a MRI done to see if I had broken the fusion in my spine.  I have never had back pain the way it hurt last week.  Even through 5 back surgeries and fusions, I never felt like that.  My knees would give out and I would have to make sure that I was standing next to something that I could hold on to until I could stand up.  The doctor said that the MRI showed that my fusions were solid.  I was going to have to depend on muscle relaxers to help me over the next several days until I could get home.

I returned on Sunday night and was so very glad to see my BodyBilt ergonomic chair.  Monday morning I went to my desk and sat in my chair and my body breathed a sigh of relief.  It is still amazing to me to have a chair that will give me the comfort that my chair gives me.  I do not believe that there is anyone out there that builds a medical chair that can fit me as well as my J3502 Comfortek ergonomic chair fits me.

I am slowly getting back to normal and am anxiously awaiting having the normal feelings again.

I would love to help anyone who is having any type of physical areas that they are trying to address with an ergonomic chair.  Please feel free to call me at 936-870-2699 or email me at pross@ergo4me.com.  I would also love to help anyone wanting to prevent any future discomfort.

Have a blessed afternoon.
