The Sunday before Memorial Day, I decided I was going to do something very crazy. I decided to run around to the other side of our pool and in doing so, I had to jump over the end of the slide. Well, my left foot caught the bottom of the slide and down I went on my left knee and wrists. I knew that I scapped my knee but I didn't think I had hurt anything else. I got right back in the water and played the rest of the day and then I was in the water on Memorial Day.
Tuesday about mid-morning, I found out that I could not straighten up. I had to go out of town that afternoon and would not return until this past Sunday. Well, I spend most of Thursday afternoon and evening in the emergency room having a MRI done to see if I had broken the fusion in my spine. I have never had back pain the way it hurt last week. Even through 5 back surgeries and fusions, I never felt like that. My knees would give out and I would have to make sure that I was standing next to something that I could hold on to until I could stand up. The doctor said that the MRI showed that my fusions were solid. I was going to have to depend on muscle relaxers to help me over the next several days until I could get home.
I returned on Sunday night and was so very glad to see my BodyBilt ergonomic chair. Monday morning I went to my desk and sat in my chair and my body breathed a sigh of relief. It is still amazing to me to have a chair that will give me the comfort that my chair gives me. I do not believe that there is anyone out there that builds a medical chair that can fit me as well as my J3502 Comfortek ergonomic chair fits me.
I am slowly getting back to normal and am anxiously awaiting having the normal feelings again.
I would love to help anyone who is having any type of physical areas that they are trying to address with an ergonomic chair. Please feel free to call me at 936-870-2699 or email me at pross@ergo4me.com. I would also love to help anyone wanting to prevent any future discomfort.
Have a blessed afternoon.

This week I seem to be working with a lot of petite individuals. When we say petite, we don't always mean in weight. We also mean in height. Anyone that is 5'4" and shorter is considered a petite individual. You don't have to weigh less than 120 pounds.
When we say Big and Tall office chairs, we don't mean that you have to be big AND tall. We mean that this is a chair for individuals up to 500 pounds.
If you have an inseam of 34" or greater, then we have a different chair that we recommend unless you weigh over 310 pounds.
You see, there are quite a lot of variables into making recommendations on the chair that best fits one's ergonomic needs. That is why it is so very important to allow me to either talk with you or email you the questions that we need you to answer. It is in evaluating your answers that I am able to make the recommendations on the chair and options that best fit your needs. Ergonomic chairs can be quite costly and it is better to get one that is custom built for your needs as opposed to getting one that says it is ergonomic.
Well, have a most blessed Saturday and a wonderful Mother's Day.

I worked with this very nice gentleman, Dustin, in obtaining an ergonomic medical chair and was very surprised and delighted when he came to pick up his chair. He gave me a book to say "Thanks for the help". That just made my heart very, very happy. I love being able to help individuals with our ergonomic chairs. Dustin will never know how much his gift means to me. It just lights the fire in my heart even more in my faith. I loved the way he signed it - "Peace and Grace". Thank you Dustin.
I have had 5 lumbar surgeries with fusions, 1 cervical surgery with fusion and broke my tailbone and I know how very much my chair has helped me. It has actually given me a work life back. It is so very important to me to make sure that I am recommending the right ergonomic chair, whether it be a big and tall chair, leather office chair, medical chair, chair for extra tall individuals, petite chairs or scooters. I just want to be sure that I have the individual's information so that I can evaluate it and make recommendations on the chair and options that best fit their ergonomic needs.
I would love to help you in obtaining the correct chair. Give me a call at 936-870-2699 or email me at pross@ergo4me.com.
Have a mightly blessed day!!!

Well, today is National Prayer Day. I would encourage each and everyone to stop for a minute and offer up a prayer for yourself, friends, loved-ones, people you don't know, our country and the brave men and women who are in the Armed Forces laying their life on the line so that we may remain free in our country.
I have worked often with individuals that are 5'4" and shorter. The petite individual has a really hard time finding a chair that will fit not only their tourso length but also their inseam. One of the problems is that most companies do not offer their petite employees a desk that is low enough for their feet to be flat on the ground when they are sitting at their desk. We have a footforte that can be set in front of the employee while they are sitting at their desk. It is made similar to the old sewing machine that our grandmothers had to pump with their feet. This pumping action helps to give you better circulation in the feet and calves of your legs. One thing that I have found is that it also helps to keep your feet and ankles from swelling. I am not a petite individual but I use one and love it.
Our petite ergonomic chair has a seat depth of 18 1/2" by 17 1/2" and with the Back Depth Adjuster, you are able to take more seat depth off the chair for your inseam length. I have worked with many individuals who are 4'9" to 5'4" and have been able to custom build an ergonomic chair that has worked for them.
One lady in particular was 5' and wanted our neckroll on her chair. I was not sure that this was going to work for her but decided to give it a try. She ordered a J3406 leather office chair and she is extremely happy. She said she had never had a chair fit her like a glove and looks forward to going in to work each morning because she knows she will be more comfortable while sitting at her desk and therefore she is more productive.
I would love the opportunity to work with you in making recommendations on the proper chair and options that you need to have a great chair. Please either give me a call at 936-870-2699 or email me at pross@ergo4me.com.
Again, remember it is National Prayer day and may each and everyone of you have a mightly blessed day.

Well, it is a beautiful Tuesday morning and I am busy at work. I had a lady email me today that has chronic, 24/7 pain while sitting, standing, walking and even lying down. She has had this pain for the past 13 years. I became alarmed when she said that she has almost lost the "hope" of becoming a writer because of the unbearable pain. I asked her to please give me a call so that I could talk with her and see if possibly one of our medical ergonomic chairs would work for her. I also included a video that I asked her to watch. It was http://www.ergo4me.com/ergonomics.php This video talks about how passionate we are with helping people to be more comfortable while sitting and more productive.
The one thing that I asked her to not do is loose hope. For me, hope and faith are very important in each and every day life. Hope is so important to me that I named my only daughter Hope. If ever I were to give anyone some heart felt advise, it would be "Never loose hope and keep your faith strong."
I would love to help this lady to find the solution so that she could get back to her dream of becoming a writer and to live a more normal life. I would welcome helping anyone who has the need or want of a wonderful custom built ergonomic chair, whether it be for medical chair purposes, preventative purposes, leather office chair, big and tall office chair or comfortek office chair. Just give me a call at 936-870-2699 or email me at pross@ergo4me.com.
Have a most blessed day.

My name is Bonnie and I am the Direct Marketing Consultant for ErgoGenesis BodyBilt ergonomic seating solutions. My job is to evaluate clients’ ergonomic needs and build a chair suited to his/her stature and work environment. We cater to folks that are Big & Tall as well as petite individuals sitting in Papa Bear’s chair and individuals who are in pain! I have a medical background and believe passionately in the importance of comfortable ergonomic seating for overall wellbeing and work productivity.
After sitting in a “cheap office store chair” myself for years I felt like I had been reborn when I received my BodyBilt ergonomic chair. The pain in my shoulders and lumbar area disappeared instantly. The contour and comfort of the seat itself coupled with the infinite amount of adjustability are unsurpassed. When I get out of my chair at the end of the day, I feel as good as when I sat down. And when I deliver a chair to a client that has suffered for years with back and sciatica pain, or hasn’t been able to sit in a chair for more that 15 minutes at a time and I hear their sigh of relief as I help them adjust the chair, it makes my daye!!! I love what I do and I love helping people. I call myself the “chair doctor” and I’d be more than happy to help you too! Call me at 800-364-5299 x 291 or email me at bonnie@ergo4me.com
Have a Blessed Day! Bonnie
My job is a passion for me because of my spinal surgeries, broken tailbone and cervical surgery. My chair has literally given me a "work-life" back. I have suffered for many years with sciatica nerve pain. I sit for an average of 10-12 hours per day at my desk and I am completely comfortable and therefore more productive.
It would be a pleasure to work with each and every one of you, whether you are petite in height, regular height or big and tall in height. Please feel free to call me at 936-870-2699 or email me at pross@ergo4me.com.
Hope you have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

It is Friday morning and I am busy at work. I just wanted to tell you a little about the tallest person that I have had a chair custom built for. He was 7'4". He was such a pleasure to work with. He received his chair, J3509 Leather and loves it. He said that he has never had a chair fit him like it should before.
I would be happy to help anyone of any height in obtaining a great custom built ergonomic chair. Just give me a call at 936-870-2699 and we can talk.
A lot of people ask us, what makes a good office chair?
There are all kinds of chair out there. $ 49 , $ 99, $ 199, $ 299, $ 499, $ 999
It is somewhat like a car. I can buy a korean KIA for $ 8,000, or a BMW for $ 80,000. Both will get you from your house to the office, but most would agree that a BMW is a "better" car than a Kia.
So what makes a good chair?
1. The quality of the components that go in to the chair.
2. The adjustability of the chair. Most chairs only have a lever on the side that allows you to go up and down. BodyBilt chairs have on average three levers, that not only go up and down, but the a back tilt adjustment, and a seat angle tily adjustment. And then the back can be lowered higher or lower. Want to see the adjustments for yourself? Check out our chair videos.
3. Customer Service. Does the company that sells you the chair care? Or did they just but the chair from somewhere in China and resell it to you. At Bodybilt, all we make are chairs from our "world" headquarters in Texas. We have been making ergonomic chairs for over 15 years, having sold over 250,000 custom ergonomic chairs.
